Earlier this week we posted about Echotone, a new documentary that is being called the film that SXSW doesn’t want you to see.
The film is now available for streaming on Hulu.The annual interactive/movie/music festival kicks off today so the timing couldn’t be better (or worse, depending on your view).

Ohio represented at SXSW 2012
Many Ohio bands are headed down to SXSW 2012. They will represent The Buckeye State in a whole slew of musical genres. If you’re in Austin this year, make sure to give our Ohioans some love.

Jay-Z Performing SXSW Show for AMEX During Interactive
Might want to start camping out in line for this one starting tonight.
Ticket pickup will occur at the American Express Booth at the Austin Convention Center on Saturday, March 10, at 7:00 a.m. on a first come, first serve basis. Amex will showcase the new Twitter experience during a special, nationally live streamed concert from SXSW at Austin City Limits on March 12 at 7 p.m. CT
The Amex Sync Show will be broadcast live at YouTube.com/AmericanExpress and also be available on the VEVO mobile and tablet platform. A special rebroadcast will be available on-demand from March 13th to March 19th
In Austin, SXSW Interactive badge holders that are American Express Cardmembers can sync their cards with their Twitter accounts for a chance to gain access to the “Amex Sync Show Presenting JAY Z” live for themselves plus one guest that is also a SXSW registrant. The concert will also be live-streamed from a digital billboard on the corner of 6th Street and Red River in Austin.
