It’s official, the Greenhouse crew (Blueprint, Illogic, & DJ Rare Groove) will be touring this spring in support of their EP Electric Purgatory Part One. This tour begins at the SXSW Music Conference and heads westward from there. They will be opening up for Killah Priest of the Wu-Tang Clan on this tour, so please come out and support them on their travels. It has been over 5 years since Blueprint & Illogic toured together and they will be playing all the Weightless classics. The first have of the tour dates have been published and are as follows:

Columbus rap group Greenhouse Effect is putting out a new ep next week called “Electric Purgatory”. They have a release party next Saturday, November 28th at Skullys.
Greenhouse Effect’s new line-up is Blueprint and Illogic.
Print’s been video blogging about the process building towards the release.
This shows Blueprint scoping out spots for a video shoot. He visits Used Kids, the Dube, the Fairgrounds, the traintracks and the Daymon Day Wall.

I used to shoplift magazines from Little Professor Bookstore that debated this song as Existentialism’s first arrival into Hip Hop. So then I started stealing books with Existentialism in the title.
Never seen Rakim live. Blueprint and Illogic open for him tonight @ Alrosa Villa.

Earlier this week, midwest hip hop saint, Kevin Beacham sent out this email announcing the end of Scribble Jam. Scribble was a Hip Hop festival in Cincy.
Later this week I might post highlights that include me painting at Scribble, Eminem, MF Doom, Sage Francis, Meta4ce, Brand Nubian, RJD2,Def Jux,Atmosphere, Anticon, Blueprint and disparging comments about the females that the so-called “Queen City” has to offer.

So What Wednesday, the weekly Hip Hop night at Bourbon Street will be coming to a close tonight.

The night’s been goin on for 2+ years now thanks to the support from the people of Columbus. Both from the many people that knew Daymon and some who didn’t. When it comes down to it, I feel like Big Daymon would have wanted it this way. Holding down a weekly for 2years in Columbus is no easy feat and i feel like all in all its been a successfull night. Better to go out on a high note than to burn out, Nahmean?
Big thanks to the many cats that have been helping with this nite since day ONE! Wes, Blueprint (ya’ll held it down and helped out with the nite every week strictly for the love and I appreciate the fuck out of it). Adam, Alex, Witzky and all the rest of the bartenders that have helped out with the nite. Pos2, LoZone, Rare groove and all the other djs the came out and helped. And all the regulars that showed up every week and partied with us. Shits been a blast and I expect tonight to be no different. Hope to see some of ya’ll (who can) out!
