New From Clinton Reno: The Decemberists, Coldplay

Our main man Clinton Reno has launched a new website. The complete archive of his work is still not completely up, but a bunch of new things he has done is now there and available for your ownership.

One thing to especially note: for the first time ever, Reno has done a limited variant of a poster. This one is a Decemberists poster where he changed the colors and added some glow in the dark ink. Check it out. Oh yeah, he’s now on Facebook too. And Twitter

Death Cab for Cutie in Columbus Poster by Clinton Reno

Last night’s Death Cab for Cutie show was a lot of fun, even as the outdoor show got colder and colder as it went on. The band seemed more energetic than I’ve ever seen them, and they busted out some old songs that made a lot of people happy.

Speaking of happy, Clinton Reno’s new Death Cab for Cutie poster from the show is pretty sweet. Lots of subtle references to Death Cab songs all over the place. Click here to purchase.

The Swell Season in Columbus – Poster by Clinton Reno

Last night’s show was so good. I’ve seen The Frames a bunch of times in the past, but this was something really special.

Anyway, Reno’s screenprinted poster is available for sale on his website.

Columbus’ Clint Reno Displaying Artwork in Baltimore Gallery

Illustrator and printmaker Clint Reno has done all of the artwork for donewaiting.com, and has become one of the top dudes (if not the top dude) in Columbus as far as posters, album artwork, etc.

Anyway, some of his posters are going to be part of an exhibition at the University of Baltimore starting later this week, along with his peers Guy Burwell, Aesthetic Apparatus, and more. There will be a lecture and reception on Wednesday where a lot of the artists will be selling their artwork. If you go, plan to spend money. It can get addictive.

Here’s a recent Reno favorite of mine:
