Rock Steady Crew’s Crazy Legs would say “get em” to Forest Webb to get him to battle other Bboy’s in New York Nightclubs. So that how this respected man got part of his name from a Tom Hanks Movie. Forest has been bboying since 1982 and dejaying since 1986. In the mid 90’s he started Akron BBoy crew the Ill Style Rockers. My interest in Bboying is fairly fleeting. However Forest Getem Gump comes from the era where dejays OCD’d out on looking for the perfect beat. So he is a world class record collector and trader.
