The homie Prince Kennedy shot me this MP3 of superproducer Zaytoven talking to the Beat 94.5 in Charlotte, North Carolina.  You know Zaytoven that produced Gucci Mane & Young Jeezy’s “So Icey?!!..Yeah man.
Anyway,  Zaytoven explained working him and Gucci working V-Nasty, and what caught his attention about her. He basically said she isn’t a basic bitch without saying basic bitch. She says bitch so I can?
He also announced Gucci Mane, and Waka Flocka have a reality show called Back to the Basement in the works.  Gucci Mane also has a movie coming out called Birds of  Feather.

In a rematch made in Hell, Warner Brothers and Vice Records have teamed up for a 3-Year deal.

And on December 13th they are releasing a BAYTL, a mixtape that teams up Bricksquad’s Gucci Mane, with Questionable Kreayshawn White Girl Mob Affialiate V-Nasty.

Yes, this is a record made for/ by the girl that almost everyone has sex with but doesn’t want to admit it…. Every graffiti writer that crashes on someone’s couch looking for drugs, taco bell and sex while bumping Sourthern rap—every graffiti writer on the planet but me….. This is your fault and basically your album. Be careful now, though that girl finally has a voice, and she can go do something weird like hook-up with the Gucci Mane and make you obsolete/scared after she steals your weed or does it to your friend..

Think about this. Warner Brother’s has a ton of Southern Rappers. Vice is brand whose job is to sell things to nihilist Hipsters. Granted I love Southern Rap. And Vice puts out Justice, the Black Lips, and the Raveonettes. And they do offer artists a multitude of marketing opportunities and revenue streams including global video channels, a network of production studios, international event series, strategic brand partnerships, and the support of the company’s foreign offices.

Or as VICE founder Suroosh Alvi said, “In Warner Bros. Records we found an awesome partner that gets VICE. They don’t mind that we’re a bit freaky and into weird shit. DIPLO TO REMIX GUCCI MANE’S “COLD WAR” MIXTAPE SERIES IN SUPPORT OF DECEMBER 8 ALBUM RELEASE

Burbank, CA – Legendary Philadelphia DJ Diplo has announced that he will remix Gucci Mane’s acclaimed Cold War mixtape series. The Grammy nominated producer and songwriter (M.I.A’s “Paper Planes,” 2008) signed on for the project to support the Decemburrrr 8th release of Gucci Mane’s The State Vs. Radric Davis in light of the rapper’s recent legal woes.  The remix album will incorporate Diplo’s unique fusion of electronic, hip-hop, reggae and Brazilian carioca inspirations. 
 
“Gucci Mane is an underdog, and a divisive artist,” says Diplo. “I thought it would be cool to have a bunch of kids and weirdos do some mixes of his songs. We all are fans and we are from different scenes. Gucci is a rapper that doesn’t try and be anything he is not; he’s straight up. Maybe it’s ironic and all, but I’m just a fan and have been since day one. Gucci Mane is the cool uncle I never had even though I’m pretty sure I am older than him.”

Gucci Mane was sentenced to 12 months in Fulton County Jail on November 12, 2009, for violating his probation conditions.  The courts have informed the rapper that he may be eligible for release in 6 months or less.  Gucci’s 1017 Brick Squad label will team up with Diplo’s label, Mad Decent, to release a “Free Gucci” t-shirt in promotion of the remix album.
 
Despite his incarceration, Gucci Mane will continue with his first major release led by the singles “Wasted” featuring Plies and “Spotlight” featuring Usher.  The 20-track LP will feature a slew of cameos from the likes of Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, Keyshia Cole, Rick Ross, Cam’ron, Trina and So Icey family Nicki Minaj and OJ Da Juiceman among others.  Polow Da Don, Bangladesh, Jazze Pha, Mannie Fresh, Scott Storch, Drumma Boi and long-time associate Zaytoven also contribute their production talents to this pinnacle album in the Atlanta-rapper’s career.
