Bombing In Iraq

While looking around the internet for responses to the tragic death of Camu Tao. I came across this on the War 42 site:

It’s armed soldiers getting up in Iraq. Thats your Tax dollars at work. While I am against the war, I do support our troops.

What’s even weirder is that the soldier shouted out Texas PBJ/IOK/BK member, Bryer who painted on this years’ Daymon Day Wall, as well as the Industry Standard Wall.  Click for more photos’ of US soldiers painting graffiti in Iraq.

WAR 42 is a DVD series that showcases graffiti intertwined with clips of really disturbing behavior like home footage of naked strippers smoking meth out of broken lightbulbs.

Legal on High & Euclid

industry%20standard%20wall.jpg
I spent a portion of my weekend posted up here while some writers got busy. The funniest thing I heard was a group of black skater kids clowning bystanders that felt the wall should’ve had a political statement written on it. The skater kids started requesting that the phrase, “The NAACP Has Banned the Word N—–A”.(Imagine that spelled out on a wall on High Street without my censoring). When the writers didn’t oblige, then one kid started lobbying for just the nword. As you can see,the writers didn’t do it. The writers were painting the spot for a new boutique that is opening in that location called Industry Standard. The shop owners requested angels not racial epitaphs. So maybe the artists thought it would’nt be a good look. At least it drove off all the unsolicited “no blood for oil” requests.

Read about a hopeless hooker after the jump.

There is also a 45 year-old prostitute that works the area in a prom dress who was going strong. She was seriously working those blocks from 10 am on a Sunday to when I got back from Whole Foods at like 7 pm. Didn’t see any johns. (The only perverts were the weirdos that would sit in their cars and watch people paint. Maybe they were cops) Anyway, anytime, she would near the corner of Euclid and High everyone would just get the heebeegeebeees. Hopefully, she works independent or at least doesn’t work for pimp that lives by the phrase, “No money is a beating honey”.
