Dan Dougan’s “Listening Hours” moved to Gateway Film Center

Dougan (of Little Brother’s and Stache’s fame) had started a weekly low-key event at Bristol Bar, but it has now moved to Gateway. Here’s the March schedule and some more info from the press blast:

Dan Dougan has moved his half-plugged Listening Hours from Bristol Bar to the Gateway Film Center’s Purple (black) Box. An enclosed space near the bar, (at the top of the stairs/escalator) the box is an acoustic wonder. The paneled room’s design provides a warm lush environment for music. Listening Hours are intended to provide an environment where performers don’t need to compete with bar conversations. The Purple Box is ideal for this purpose. Doors for these events open @ 7 pm and show starts @ 8 pm. Cover is $5. Parking is cheap and easy at the garage behind the Gateway – validate ticket at the Gateway Film Center’s bar for $1.
