Odd Future’s Frank Ocean was named Rookie of the Year by GQ. Between singing on Tyler, the Creator’s album Goblin, being all over Watch the Throne, and dropping his own mixtape Nostalgia, Ultra, it seems like like a solid choice for the former Bieber and John Legend songwriter.
In other news, Ocean announced on his Tumblr a make-up show for his cancelled Nov 6 NY concert and an additional show at the Bowery. The make-up show is Nov. 27th, Tickets from the Nov 6th show will be honored that night only. Ocean will also play at the Bowery on the 28th. You can buy tickets for the Nov 28th Show here.
The new issue of Spin Magazine’s cover story is the New Underground in Hip Hop. Above is a humorous diagram that at some parts is a little off. I don’t think Jay Electronica sold his soul or that Nas is out of touch, but whatever, it’s still something to look at and think about.
In an article on Odd Future in the same issue, Tyler, the Creator says his next album will be out in May, and will be rape-humor free.
Hodgy Beats twittered this Crap. Hardy Har. But seriously, new song by Odd Future’s Hodgy Beats featuring Left Brain called Crap off of Hodgy’s upcoming Rock/Slab mixtape.
So I guess this would be a new MellowHype song.
MP3: Hodgy Beats- “CRAP” Ft. Left Brain
Ut oh…Odd Future’s feminine side has arrived. And it is as equally disturbing even if the sound is prettier. The cocaine aspect is disturbing . Not the gay sex scene. Donewaiting would never be homophobic. And is Odd Future’s Syd the Kid the first Hip Hop artist to be openly gay in a video? Baby and Lil Wayne’s kiss doesn’t count.
The Internet will release their debut album Purple Naked Ladies on Odd Future Records by the end of the year.
All jokes aside, You will be able to buy Cocaine straight from the internet, I mean, I-tunes tomorrow.
Listen to Love Song-1 and They Say by the Internet after the jump.
Well, I have been celebrating Waka Flocka, and Odd Future like they were the next coming of Dipset.
Well, it happened “Wolf Gang. Brick Squad.” Waka Flocka joined Odd Future on stage in Atlanta last night.
“That was so cool.”
Above is Waka’s song Karma. After the jump a worse angle with footage of Keep it Real and Bitch Suck Dick.
Odd Future’s Domo Genesis just dropped a mixtape Under The Influence.
Download it from his tumblr.
If Tyler is the Eminem of OFWGKTA then Domo is the dude that rappers that grew up on the Roc-a-Fella era of Hip Hop can burn trees to.
I’m skimming through the tape as I post this….Domo raps over some classics like “Guess Whose Back” and that Game cellphone commercial beat. Tyler, the Creator guests on that one, and answers the idea that Goblin was a failure.
Peep this freestyle with Tyler while you are waiting for Under the Influence to download.

Adult Swim loooves Hip Hop it seems. Asheru, Danger Doom and Dilla come to mind as Hip Hop artists that have beemed into the 99.4 Million Homes that receive the Cartoon Network.
Adult Swim just picked up Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All’s new 15 minute live-action series Loiter Squad that features sketches, man on the street segments, pranks and music from the Los Angeles rap collective.
Tyler just got a VMA. And Frank Ocean was all over Watch the Throne and just produced Beyonce, so even if people hate OFWGKTA, it appears they aren’t going away anytime soon.
Loiter Squad is produced by Dickhouse Entertainment, a Hollywood production partnership of Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze and Jeff Tremaine.
Other Dickhouse Entertainment programs include Jackass, Nitro Circus, Rob & Big, Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory, Wild Wonderful Whites of West Virginia, The Birth of Big Air and Wildboyz.
Jeff Tremaine and Adult Swim’s Nick Weidenfeld will serve as executive producers.
The above video is an old documentary of Odd Future goof-balling in their hometown Ladera. It’s not a trailer for the Loiter Squad. And you prolly don’t want to watch it if you hate OF.

MP3:Tyler The Creator Ft. Domo Genesis – Odd & Twisted (Got It Twisted Freestyle)
Odd Future’s Domo & Tyler rip Mobb Deep’s classic Got It Twisted beat while Peter Rosenberg makes jokes in a low voice.
MP3: MED “Outta Control (ft Hodgy Beats of Odd Future)”
Stones Throw Recording artist MED has rocked with Madvillian, Dilla, Lootpack and Quasimoto in the past. On November 1st, he will drop Classic on Stones Throw which has MED teaming up with Odd Future’s Hodgy Beats, Talib Kweli, Oh No, Kurupt, and Pok. Madlib produces 10 songs on Classic, with additional production coming from the Alchemist, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Oh No and Karriem Riggins. Visit Stones Throw’s website for more info.

MP3:The Game feat Tyler, the Creator + Lil Wayne -Martians vs. Goblins
Has Game out trolled Lil B the Based God ? I love the Game’s music. However, between his meta-reference rhyme content, Mike Tyson-esque face tattoo and constant love poems to Dr. Dre he is one of the most absurd, grotesque individuals in Hip Hop.
Game’s newest adventure has him dissing Lil B the Based God in an interview with VLAD TV and on this collab with Tyler, the Creator and Lil Wayne, “Martians vs. Goblins”.
Game also lies about having sex with Lebron James mom and Erykah Badu on “Martian vs. Goblins”.
This is probably one of the funniest rap songs made this week. Odd Future’s Tyler, the Creator clowns Game’s name-dropping after slandering Bruno Mars.
Game then references Nas’s “Eminem murdered you on your own shit” line from the Jay-z diss “Ether” but points it at himself.
So much fun for rap nerds on this song is which is on Game’s new album The R.E.D. Album which comes out next Tuesday.
