Frightened Rabbit = Twilight Sad – My Bloody Valentine
The kids from Scotland, who were last in town this spring, will be playing at Skully’s tonight opening (yeah, I know, but at least that means they’ll play earlier) for the Spinto Band, stars of the Donewaiting SXSW Day Party. While the critics have heaped praise on Frightened Rabbit, what really matters is that LISTENERS (and message board posters) have been calling The Midnight Organ Fight the album of the year. The band JUST (like, on Tuesday) released a live acoustic album, Liver! Lung! FR!, documenting a show performed in Glasgow in July and it features Twilight Sad singer James Graham on “Keep Yourself Warm”.
