DJ Kratedigga is one of the coolest and most cerebral deejays in Columbus. He has immaculate taste and an excellent sense of composition.

Whether he is spinning out or backing J.Osceola, Krate is a great live deejay..

I didn’t know Krate produced. But here is a song that Mr. Digga made with CoCity of the 3rd. Looks like it’s off an album called Snap, Taps, and Boom-Baps. Wonder if that title is a reference to Snaps & Taps?

Thats my ish….Rashad, the producer/rapper from the Northside of Columbus, gives you an ode to his favorite music. Perfect song to put on your IPOD as you walk around on this glorious day.

Rashad has laced Lefortheuncool and Stalley this year.
So I’m really looking forward to see what he does with own album, Museum.

Stalley teams up with Columbus, Ohio’s Rashad for “Slapp”. Rashad produced “Slapp”, and is the dude with a huge grin singing while rocking a Sole Classics hat. “Slapp” is off the upcoming ITM mixtape that Rashad produced in its entirety.

Camp Lo, Stalley, KO-Kid, the 3rd and Terry Urban will be playing the Summit Saturday, November 20th.
O-Gee will be hosting an after party at Barrio. Camp Lo will be in the building.

Seriously seeing Camp Lo at the Summit is a rare treat, though. They are Hip Hop legends.

Cam’ron’s tribute to Harlem Rapper Huddy Combs who died in a car crash earlier this week.
I don’t know much about Huddy Combs, but I know he was friends with Columbus rapper/producer Rashad Thomas of the 3rd.
I figured while remembering Eyedea, it should be noted another member of the Columbus Hip Hop community lost a friend.

The recorded sound isn’t perfect but at the same time but between the beat and the hook it reminds you that Rashad is really talented.

It’s Still Bigger than Hip Hop. Dead Prez is playing Columbus with Copywrite and the 3rd on this bill with a few others.

While “It’s Bigger than Hip Hop” is the hit. Really, I’m using this show to show my favorite video in the history of rap, “Hell Yeah”. I posted it above. While you might not like the fact that its white people being robbed, you need to get past that and just enjoy the fact that it’s people being robbed. Why get defensive about race?

Look how much fun Dead Prez is having robbing tourists, pizza men, stores and their jobs.  Look how attractive Dead Prez are when robbing white people, pizza men, stores and their jobs.

This video is especially awesome because it shows vegans aren’t pussies. And also has a Rick Ross cameo near the end.(hint he is wearing a mask)

But yeah, Dead Prez, the one group that figured out that revolutionaries are supposed to look cool are performing in Columbus.
