Higher Plane TV caught up with Columbus emcee the Catalyst at Summer Jam 614. The Q and A is insightful as the Catalyst talks about the growth of Columbus Hip Hop.

Zerostar dropped a new EP Tuesday called Don’t Look Now. To celebrate, Zero Star and Pos 2 are launching a new bi-monthly at the Carabar Tonight. (See above Flyer).

Get Right host,The Catalyst and fellow Though Setter N.P. decided to rap over Frank Ocean’s “Swim Good”
The Catalyst’s verse is dope because while it intially sounds like a rap about sexual conquests, it is actually a bi-polar tale of self-loathing and self-importance.
N.P.’s verse vaguely hints at failures because of a poor choice. I don’t think he is actual talking about himself, though.

Fly Union drops a video for “Hard Sell”. The Catalyst , King Dom, and Hodgie Street ask you “Fuck Wit Me” er them . Le For the Uncool also has a new video for “the Format”. Rashad and Stalley do some sort of spage age pimpin after the jump.

Fly Union video for “Hard Sell” off of their debut album TGTC (you can download the album by clicking TGTC. It’s the only rap album thats been able to pull “Goblin” out of my cd player.

King.Dom, Hodgie Street, The Catalyst \"Fuck With Me\" Produced By The Catalyst

This song is absolute fire. King Dom says the only Charlie Sheen reference in the past three months that isn’t immeadeate grounds for dissmissal, “Corny rappers with your Charlie Sheen lines. I am at the crib blowing Charlie Sheen lines”. And didn’t follow it up with winning.
And i hate cocaine use.

Money & Memories Entertainment just posted this video of Choz1n lining up a beat for M1, the Catalyst and Black Child. Yes the Black Child that stabbed 50 Cent.

RJD2 dropped the Inversions of the Colossus a few weeks ago. It has unreleased joints, as well as remixes, and instrumentals off of the Colossus.
RJD2 announced a remix contest for his song “the Glow”. The winner will be a b-side to a digital single alongside a Flosstradamus remix. You can get the stems and enter the contest at RJD2Remix.com.
