Please don’t let this be a hoax perpurtrated by Madonna herself. Apparently Madonna (not actually Madonna but somebody at her record company) flooded the file-sharing networks with “dummy” songs. These songs appeared to be the real thing until you started playing them at which time you were greeted with a loop of Madonna saying, “What the f–k do you think you’re doing?”
On Saturday, a hacker hacked into Madonna’s website and posted the “real” MP3s of all the tracks from her new album, American Life, due in stores today. On the frontpage of the site, the hacker left a personal message … “This is what the f–k I think I’m doing.”
Classic! Please let it be true.
