The MTV Video Music Awards have never been all that good but this year’s show was plain awful. Very few memorable moments. What I did learn is that MTV is more responsible for the death of rock than downloaders are. I didn’t count but there were far more dancers that graced the stage than guitar players. And what the hell was with Metallica’s medley of covers?
