A few hours later, and I?m down the front for McLusky. Guess what. They?re fucking brilliant. Edgy. Angry. Spiky. Fast. Funny. Angry. Did I mention angry yet? I already loved their CDs but I?d not seen them live before and they?re a revelation. ?Are there any Tories here?? singer / guitarist Falco enquires partway through the set. ?Congratulations on making it here without buying a house,? he hurls back at the twats who cheered in response. I was looking forward to their set but I didn?t really expect it to be my favourite of the festival. Full of fire and fury and fucking, it stood head and shoulders above the rest of the weekend by a country mile. (full review)
