So, first of all, what is Twangfest?
Twangfest is a nonprofit, grass-roots, entirely volunteer-staffed festival now in its eighth year of redefining exactly what the
word “twang” can mean. Created by music lovers for music lovers, it unfolds over four days with a full slate of bands every night; during
the day, the willing and able can do everything from bowl the afternoon away while live bands play to checking out Twangclips, a full afternoon of rare film and video clips of performers spanning the full history of American music, hosted by No Depression magazine’s Barry Mazor.
