Mary Lou Lord, Boston’s indie/singer-songwriter and perennial SXSW Sixth Street Busker will be attending the festival this year in a new capacity. Along with her husband, Kevin she has started a small management company and will be bringing along our first signing, Emergency Music, as her support act and backing band.
People can check out a short EPK and MP3’s at the site along with news at maryloulord.com. They’ll both be performing as part of the Shout Booking Showcase at Soho Lounge Friday, 18th. right on Sixth in the thick of things. And of course, Mary Lou will be busking up a storm somewhere on Sixth for the 10th year in a row!
