Split feelings among the Donewaiting writers about the Leeds, UK buzz band the Kaiser Chiefs. Some think they are jumping on the ’80s Revival bandwagon. We’re not exactly trendsetters at DW, as much as we like to think we are, and there is little doubt that no matter what we think about the Kaiser Chiefs, they are poised to become a buzz band (ala The Killers) in the U.S. in the very near future. Listen to “I Predict a Riot,” a song that is just starting to get added to alt.rock radio station playlists, and make up your mind.
