Miranda Sound are recording their third album with legendary musician J Robbins (Jawbox) this week and have set up a recording diary to keep up to date on progress.

    J. Robbins is one of my favorite producers, just about every record he touches turns to gold (imo), unless the band royally sucks to begin with.

    though i wouldn’t mind a Burning Airlines reunion :)

    I met J when the band I was in opened for GI in Hattiesburg, MS in the late 80s- shit I’m old. He was super cool then, and I have followed him- I am excited to hear Miranda Sound with him dialing the knobs.

    J Robbins did a good job with one of my favorite North Carolina bands Kudzu Wish. Good catch for Miranda Sound. I already like their stuff so I cannot wait to hear what’s in store for the next album.
