Richard Ashcroft interview, new album

If you head over to the newly redesigned Richard Ashcroft website, there’s a special Christmas Eve interview posted for fans to check out.

I haven’t heard the entire album yet, but what I have heard is pretty good — much better than the last record. You can also view the video for the first single while you’re there.

There’s some buzz over on the Richard Ashcroft message board.

Happy Christmas! Enjoy.

Happy Holidays

I’ve been off in NJ for the last few days with spotty, stolen wireless internet access and my lovely group of writers must be drunk on eggnog (this is my passive aggressive way of sadly wondering why they haven’t posted), so things are slow in donewaiting.com-ville.

Hope you have a good holiday, y’all.

Stars Covering Pogues’ “Fairytale of New York”

Oh sweat. Over on Chromewaves Frank has an mp3 of Stars covering the Christmas classic “Fairytale of New York”.

It seems like every other day Stars is doing something to remind me how much I love them. They did, after all, come in #2 on my favorite albums of 2005 list.

Yo La Tengo Special Guests Announced For Hannukah Shows

You can check out the list here of the special guests. I’ll be there on 12/26 and 12/27 so I’ll also be catching Tortoise. That’s a band that escaped me all these years so I’m gonna need a quick education.
