I know a lot of people are loving all those delicate Sufjan Christmas songs that are spreading around the internets, but for me it’s all about the new Marah Christmas album, “A Christmas Kind of Town”. It’s funny, it’s heartwarming and it’s got tons and tons of replay value.

Although this is related to the film festival, this is probably a good indication that the Danielson Family will be out at the music festival next year.
The documentary has bits of collage and animation to help mimic the onstage and on-tape charm and craziness that is the Danielson Famile. It will premiere at 2006’s SXSW before hitting the festival circuit. (full story)

Chris and Carrie met at the donewaiting.com launch concert almost three years ago. Their wedding was last weekend, and it was lovely. Donewaiting.com San Francisco writer Craig Ness was the best man.
This is the second couple we had a hand in getting married, believe it or not.

WOXY has started to stream many of their Lounge Acts via Quicktime and Windows Media. There’s a ton of great stuff to listen to, including performances by Rogue Wave, The Wrens, The National, Clap Your Hands, Neko Case and many mony more.
They’re still archiving a ton of stuff, so expect a lot of new bands to be added over the coming weeks.

On 12/1 check out the White Stripes on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. A big first for the band and the show, it should make for an epic nite. Then finally on 12/2, the band come back to one of thier favorite haunts (immortalized in their new video for Denial Twist) Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
