Would it kill them to actually point out the new additions?
On a scan, I noticed Built to Spill, the Ditty Bops, Drive-By Truckers, the John Popper Project, DJ Logic (who is part of the JPP), and Harry Shearer’s “Le Show” Live. (Some of those might have already been on the list, but I hadn’t noticed them.)
Yeah, I noticed there was a bunch of stuff missing towards the end of the alphabet. I thought maybe I had screwed up the file, but it looks like it’s on their end. As soon as I notice they’ve updated the list again, I’ll update and re-post my files.
Update: Okay, it looks like the SXSW people tried to do something, but their list is still truncated. I went ahead and took the end of last week’s list and grafted it onto the new list, so we should now have something that is mostly accurate, save for any recent band additions that may exist in the missing chunk (V through Z). I also corrected a few minor errors I had made in my cleansing process.

all of the w/x/y/z’s are mysteriously missing now! i hope they fix that soon.

The list was fixed as of this morning. My files have been updated. All is right in the world of SXSW.
