I am so proud to announce the launch of our new website, weColumbus.
In a time where larger media corporations are buying up all the independent media it can find, it was time Columbus had a website to call it’s own.
weColumbus will focus on Columbus Ohio news, sports, entertainment, dining, community, and just about everything related to the city. We’ll feature photos and video people are taking of the town, and are looking for people to write about any aspect of the city that they love.
We are still working out some of the bugs, but I think the site is in a good place for people to start visiting.
Additionally, there are two major pieces of the site we’re still working on:
– A Columbus OH events guide that is nothing like you’ve ever seen before. You’ll be able to plan your life a year in advance.
– A new Columbus OH store. If you make books, tshirts, posters, jewelry, quilts, WHATEVER, we want to sell it – if you’re a citizen of Columbus OH. (we wont be selling music, though)
This is the start of something really big. I’m so proud of the site. I have lived in Columbus for only a few years and I’m proud to call this city home. It’s given me so much – a great girlfriend, new friends, a chance to create donewaiting.com and Sunken Treasure, and now it’s time to take everything to the next level, locally.
weColumbus – Finally, Columbus has a website.
Right on Duffy!
