I’ve not come across any major SXSW updates, but here’s a bunch of small tidbits I’ve found.
Keep in mind, last year the first wave of bands was announced December 15, 2005. I’m not sure it’s going to happen again this year, but I imagine some announcement will come in the next few weeks.
- According to this press release, South Dakota band The Spill Canvas will be at SXSW 2007.
- Planetary Group says Baton Rouge indie rockers We Landed on the Moon will be there. Here’s an MP3: Everything is Fine.
- Reunited Australian rock band the Hoodoo Gurus, famed for mid-’80s cult hits such as “Bittersweet,” will tour the United States next year for the first time since 1994, including a SXSW stop. Read more.
