   What are you talking about? They went on sale over the weekend at Waterloo and there were plenty to go around. They’re sold out now though, sorry.

   Hahahahaha….joking of course. Yes, the suspense is killing me, and call me a complete dork, but I wonder what color they’ll be this year.

   any guesses (informed or not) as to time and place of the wristband sale? my random, completely baseless, wild guess is next monday, 7pm, at stubbs.

   i just want it to be over with – the sale of the wristbands that is. i can’t take this anymore. it gets worse very year. i almost bought a music badge on eBay last week. am i insane?!?

   as far as the color goes, anything’s better than the pink ones last year.

   The wristbands are ALWAYS sold ONLY at Waterloo Records. When? That’s still anyone’s guess.

   Well, Livia, if you want to talk about the last couple years, then yes, they’ve ALWAYS been sold ONLY at Waterloo. Of course, they used to sell them all over the place. I’m pretty sure even my 2004 wristband was bought at Albertson’s, so I wouldn’t say Waterloo has the monopoly on where they’ll be sold. Having said that, it will probably be at Waterloo on Thursday(the day the chronicle comes out so they can print the announcement and not have anyone know ahead of time). Of course, the SMS might go out Wed night like last year.

    Remember, SXSW is for the industry. Not for music fans. Or as SXSW calls them, “Consumers”. If you wanna go, get a Badge. If they happen to throw some scraps (wristbands) from above down to the public, get down on your knees and thank them for being so kind to a unworthy non-industry person like yourself.
