Hot IQs Cancel SXSW Due to Family Emergency

Unfortunately there was a horrible tragedy this weekend when HOT IQs drummer Elaine Acosta’s father passed away. Due to these circumstances, it is with great regret that the band has cancelled their trip to Austin and all performances. Everyone in the HOT IQs camp was very excited for this trip, but it is most important for Elaine to be with her family right now.

Our hearts are with Elaine and her family at this time and we wish them the best. Please feel free to send our lovely drummer the love she needs here.

    The Hot IQs will be replaced by The Singles at RXRW. We wish the Hot IQs and Elaine only the best and hope they bounce back soon from their loss!
