Donewaiting.com SXSW Coverage: Prologue

I leave for Austin Friday morning, and I’m still buried under a mountain of information. Sleater-Kinney playing Tuesday? Fader Party? Say what? Oh dear…

So starting today through Friday I’ll be posting open comment threads for different, specific topics. This way people can get their information out.

Don’t forget to keep checking back here starting Friday for daily coverage. Even though the music stuff doesn’t start properly until Wednesday, I’ll have stuff to report while in Austin during the days leading up.

Hard to believe this festival is really here. Time to do some meditation, deep breaths, and start planning…

  11. that fader party… i’m looking for spot to rsvp. i’ll be there all week doing coverage, but in particular, eagles of death metal are from here in palm springs – so hooking up at that fader event would be nice. Also, finding all these damn after hours is tough, need more!!

  12. Anybody know what “pass” means for the Sleater-Kinney show? Badges? Badges & Wristbands?

  13. for s/k probably a film pass or badge if it is the film closing party. i think the passes were available for about $40 before. not sure what they went for this year. they might just be taking badges though.

  14. anyone know where the Guerrero Produce Warehouse is?
also, it says “we add a new twist by welcoming the SXSW Music conference attendees” so does that mean music passes and badges get you in???
