*The Damnwells are managed by Wes Kidd, former lead singer of Triple Fast Action. Wes also manages (or co-manages) Cheap Trick, Local H, Kevin Tihista, and Suffrajett.
*The Damnwells booking agency is High Road Touring. High Road Touring is also responsible for booking, among others, Wilco, Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams, eels, Longwave and They Might Be Giants.
*The Damnwells have toured with Cheap Trick, Josh Rouse, Phantom Planet, Jason Lowenstein (ex-Sebadoh), Drive By-Truckers, Slobberbone, Rhett Miller, Mason Jennings and others.
*The Damnwells released PMR+1 last year on In Music We Trust Records.
*The Damnwells, in the press, have been compared to Wilco, Goo Goo Dolls, Everclear, Whiskeytown, Sparklehorse, the Get-Up Kids, Buffalo Tom, Jimmy Eat World, Gin Blossoms, Todd Thibaud, Radiohead, The Feelies, Waxwings, Centro-matic and Matthew Sweet.
*The Damnwells drummer, Steven Terry, played on Whiskeytown’s Stranger’s Almanac.

And let us not forget that Mrs.Children has been generating quite a buzz in the Columbus community. Columbus’s favorite “we’re not an emo band” rockers Kopaz will open the show (per The Damnwells request) with a jaw-dropping set of powerful rock songs.
