  • “The annual Coachella Music Festival in California is expanding for 2007 — the festival will now be three days. Also, it’ll be followed up by a two-day country music festival.”
  • I hope that people at concerts–especially sold-out, packed concerts–will learn a little something called common courtesy. If someone bumps into you, it’s not a big deal–it’s a sold-out show. Don’t treat it as a personal affront.

Stephen Colbert vs The Decemberists

Stephen Colbert just challenged The Decemberists on his show, it was pretty funny. He mentioned the band’s contest where they’re asking fans to re-animate their music video. Colbert did something similar in August on his show so he challenged all his fans to enter the contest and put footage of Colbert into the video.

I’m sure it’ll pop up on Youtube in about 12 hours. Post the link in the comments.

Dirty on Purpose are hosting MTV2’s Subterranean on Sunday and you can submit a question for them to answer on the air. Details:

The episode will air this weekend on Sunday, December 3rd, instead of December 10th. We’ve picked out a nice video playlist for you, so tune in and see all of the awesome videos that have inspired us. The show is on MTV2 this Sunday at 1am EST/10pm PT.
