Donewaiting.com Redesign Remix
Hey, as you can tell (if you don’t use an RSS reader), I went and redesigned the site for the 3rd time in four years. Frank can’t be the only dude redesigning his site, you know?
I wanted to get rid of the blue backgrounds which I felt were a bit stuffy and stretch out the middle more. Also, the new design will help with some different advertising plans we have… (daddy gotta pay the bills)
If it doesn’t load up properly in your browser, let me know what you’re using in the comments.

After years of deliberation and resistance from Beatles management, it appears that a deal may soon be struck to bring Beatles music to digital formats for MP3 player consumption. Oddly, speculation currently indicates that the Beatles might first be rele

Holiday Music Blogs
One of the best things for me this time of year is all of the holiday music that comes around. I firmly believe the holiday music season begins the day after Thanksgiving and ends promptly at 11:59pm on Christmas Day.
Anyway, every year I lose my bookmarks to sites that post holiday music mp3s, either exclusively or just a lot this time of year. If you have any good links, post ’em up in the comments.

Kevin Smith’s iTunes Playlist That Never Was
Kevin Smith was asked to submit a Celebrity Playlist to iTunes but in the end it didn’t work out because he wrote too much for each song. Apparantly “two sentences” is all the iTunes Store can handle. So instead of editing it down, Smith just posted the entire list on his blog. A highlight:
Track: Living in Sin
Artist: Bon Jovi
Album: New JerseySome folks may feel like I’ve tossed my street cred by ranking Bill Hicks and Bon Jovi in the same playlist, but fuck ‘em. I’m from Jersey; what do you expect? Besides – anyone who denies ever enjoying any Bon Jovi track is lying to you. It was a tough call, picking just one Bon Jovi track instead of twelve; and the temptation was there to go with one of the bigger, stadium-rock anthems like “Wanted Dead or Alive” (because, I’ve seen a million faces, and I like to think I rocked ‘em all, too). But for repeated plays, I lean toward the more ballad-y Jon Bon, and more than “Never Say Goodbye” and “I’ll Be There for You” (which will forever represent the Prom song genre to me), I dig this track. Fuck you – it’s sexy, man. This song makes me want to get into some heavy teenage petting. But, y’know – with my wife, not an actual teenager; sex with an actual teenager would be illegal, and as much as I love the Jov, I ain’t doing time for any former hair-band.
PS: The excellent “Clerks 2” comes out on DVD tomorrow.
