Over on AOL Music, they’ve got links to stream new albums by Thom Yorke, Sufjan Stevens and more.
Personally, I’m really interested in that new Golden Smog album that comes out next week.

From billboard.com:
Pink Floyd co-founder Roger “Syd” Barrett has died at the age of 60, reportedly due to complications from diabetes. The artist, who left Pink Floyd in the late 1960s after his mental health began to decline, spent the better part of the past 30 years living in seclusion with his mother in Cambridge, where he was born on Jan. 6, 1946.
“The band are naturally very upset and sad to learn of Syd Barrett’s death,” the surviving members of Pink Floyd said in a statement. “Syd was the guiding light of the early band lineup and leaves a legacy which continues to inspire.” (full story)
I’ve been a Pink Floyd fan for what seems like forever now, and always enjoyed Barrett’s solo material, especially The Madcap Laughs and The Radio One Sessions. Can’t say I haven’t expected this for years, but it still is sad. Shine on…
