Jon from Hip Hop Anonymous recently attended a Hip Hop Speaks panel in NYC and the best quote definitely came from MTV’s Sway:
?For the past three weeks I?ve been filling in at Hot 97 doing their morning show. And at Hot 97, everything is based on gossip and drama. ? People come up to me and say stuff like, ?yo, I love you on MTV man, but you keep stuff too positive.? So I guess positive isn?t the trend? And a few others come at me saying I give too much information. I mean, should I report less and keep the hood dumb? It?s as though before I give them food for thought I gotta give them junk food.
