Northern State Cancels Tour

Can someone get these girls a CAPS LOCK key?

NORTHERN STATE SINCERELY REGRETS THAT WE WILL NO LONGER BE PERFORMING ON THE GIRLZ GARAGE TOUR DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL – WE FEEL ABSOLUTELY SICK ABOUT FANS THAT HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT TICKETS AND THERE ARE NO WORDS TO EXPRESS OUR DISAPPOINTMENT REGARDING THIS TURN OF EVENTS – WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO MAKE IT UP TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU OVER TIME AND WE HOPE THAT YOU CAN CONTINUE TO BE THE TRUE BELIEVERS THAT MAKE IT ALL WORTHWHILE- YOUR SUPPORT MEANS MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW.

  • Fall movie discussion happening here.
  • That’s the title of this MSNBC article about the band and their new album. And I think to myself, as I sit here in my bedroom in Columbus Ohio, how many times will the same article be written about this band?

    The Rapping Judge

    Yo I LOVE this.

A judge has dismissed a defamation lawsuit filed by a former schoolmate of rapper Eminem — and she included a rap of her own to explain the ruling.

In a footnote to the 13-page opinion issued Friday, the Macomb (Mich.) Daily reported in Saturday’s editions, Macomb County Circuit Judge Deborah Servitto added a 10-stanza verse that read, in part:

Mr. Bailey complains that his rap is trash,
so he’s seeking compensation in the form of cash.
Bailey thinks he’s entitled to some monetary gain,
because Eminem used his name in vain.
The lyrics are stories no one would take as fact,
they’re an exaggeration of a childish act.
It is therefore this court’s ultimate position,
that Eminem is entitled to summary disposition.
