Was that Dave Navarro who just jumped out of the crowd during Xtina’s performance? Or is that his ugly brother? Or is that Wes Borland from Limp Bizkit?

MTV VMA03: Thanks for the Job
It’s nice to see that Cher hired Devoe from Bell, Biv, Devoe to give a shout out to the audience before she started singing her “Dirrrty” song.

What’s Up, Swizzle-Stick.com?
Chip Midnight writes the Atomic Ned column for donewaiting.com. He is also the creator and editor of Swizzle-Stick, a music interview/news/review website that has been up for about five years now.
They’ve had problems for the last month or so, and Chip has finally let the public know just what the hell is going on.
Read his comments, and then start preparing yourself for the return.

Icelandic Hip Hop
Rottweiler is a hip hop band from Iceland. Their new video probably isn’t work safe.
They don’t rap in English so I don’t know what they’re saying. The beats aren’t that good, to be honest.

Rage Against the Machine Live Album To Finally Be Released
Why the fuck did I have to learn about this from MTV and not one of the other music sites/blogs I visit? It’s like when your worst enemy tells you something about your favorite band that you should have known way before him.
It’s a CD/DVD split. Coming in November. Here are the songs:
“Kick Out the Jams”
“Bulls on Parade”
“Bombtrack”
“Calm Like a Bomb”
“Bullet in the Head”
“Microphone Fiend”
“Sleep Now in the Fire”
“War Within a Breath”
“I’m Housin’ ”
“Killing in the Name”
“Born of a Broken Man”
“No Shelter”
“Know Your Enemy”
“Beautiful World”
“Freedom”
“How I Could Just Kill a Man”
Just thinking about this release reminds me of how much I hate Audioslave. Seriously, fuck them. Fuck them.

Pink Regulates Prince William
Did you know Pink is donewaiting.com’s favorite pop diva? She is.
Anyway, she was recently asked to play Prince William’s birthday party and this is how she responded:
In an open letter to Buckingham Palace, she wrote: “I was happy to hear I was your first choice to play a 21st bash – then disgusted to learn that you hunt and kill animals for fun and that you purposely rammed a spear through a tiny deer in Africa. “Why? Was it some kind of man thing?”
Pink went on to say that she would perform at his next party but on the proviso that he quit hunting.
“We all make mistakes in our lives and we can change. Hopefully, you’ll have a change of heart and find more interesting things to do with your time than kill animals,” she wrote. “Then maybe I’ll come play at your next birthday.” (full story)
Regulate!
