I don’t know when John Darnielle was in Columbus last, but it’s been too long. Seems like he’d always go to some random college where I couldn’t get tickets. The Wex should be the perfect spot to see the Mountain Goats.

i saw him once in the 90s at some gallery in the short north, prior to comfest. bela put the show on, and jake housh (moviola) did an opening set. he’s got peter hughes (nothing painted blue, diskothi q) and jon wurster (superchunk) playing with him now. way to go wex for booking this.
