Did you know Pink is donewaiting.com’s favorite pop diva? She is.

Anyway, she was recently asked to play Prince William’s birthday party and this is how she responded:

In an open letter to Buckingham Palace, she wrote: “I was happy to hear I was your first choice to play a 21st bash – then disgusted to learn that you hunt and kill animals for fun and that you purposely rammed a spear through a tiny deer in Africa. “Why? Was it some kind of man thing?”

Pink went on to say that she would perform at his next party but on the proviso that he quit hunting.
“We all make mistakes in our lives and we can change. Hopefully, you’ll have a change of heart and find more interesting things to do with your time than kill animals,” she wrote. “Then maybe I’ll come play at your next birthday.” (full story)

Chip Midnight is back from his vacation in the deep south feeling better than ever. Batteries are re-charged, sheep were counted, and waves were boogied.

Houston’s MYTWILIGHTPILOT recently signed with NYC’s Feel Records and their debut EP, 555, is released today. The band is going to be touring soon in support of the CD and hopes to record a full-length album later this year. Read the interview here!

I don’t know the music of the Pernice Brothers but a lot of my friends love them. Our good mate Stephen Slaybaugh recently interviewed Joe Pernice, and you can read it right here.

For a lot of us, Ms Bjork won’t be touring through our towns. So instead we’ll have to read reviews and imagine ourselves there.
