Check it out here! Really great drawing.

Although I was disappointed to see that Tankboy doesn’t wear his donewaiting.com pin…

The Secret Is Out! Me And My Girlfriend Are Having A Baby

I thought I was pretty under the radar. I really didn’t expect Rolling Stone to scoop the story before I had a chance to announce it at our Donewaiting.com concert, but those fuckers did. My girlfriend will be having a baby in September, read about it here.

I’ll post a link to our registry soon.

Welcome Back ….

The Rub Is Dead, Long Live God’s Audio/Visual Aid

Our good friend Paul Cox used to run a joint called The Rub, but has dropped that outfit in favor of his new, more delicious site, God’s Audio/Visual Aid. Fun stuff.

Make with the clicky and be happy he’s back.

The interesting thing for the Shortlist is the album had to sell less than 500,000. I’m surprised that the Beck album did so little.

While you’re at it, tell us your ten picks.

New York Times on Dashboard Confessional, Emo

Interesting article about the history of Dashboard Confessional as well as looks at the overall emo scene and some of the current standouts. The article also calls the new Dashboard album “a remarkable disc that may become the year’s most important rock record.”

Donewaiting.com discussion of the new Dashboard going on now.

Dave Eggers Top Ten Albums of the Moment

Read them here. It’s good to see he gives some local San Francisco bands some props, as well as lovely lovelys like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Listen: Outkast’s Ghetto Musick

Outkast are trying to fit 400 words per second in their new single, Ghetto Musick. It’s great and wonderful and now I want the album.
