Loose Fur in Brooklyn: the donewaiting.com reivew

So my main man Charlie Tokyo made a pilgrimage from Columbus OH to Brooklyn NYC to see Jeff Tweedy’s little side project, Loose Fur, do their thing. He’s written up the longest singular donewaiting.com review in the history of the site, and we’re a better internet destination for it.

Here’s a taste:
“Checking my phone, I note that it has been 44 hours since I arrived in the frozen metropolis of New York City. It’s difficult to account for all those hours, partly due to the fact that a great portion of it has been spent with my face buried deep within the folds of my arctic tundra overcoat, but also because time passes strangely here, so close to the center of the everything, a moment can seem like a day, while frames skip and so much stutters by in fast forward.”

Get the whole thing here. This is not just a review about the concert. It’s much more than that. Much, much more.
