  2. Don’t know if they’ve confirmed for SxSW yet, but Isle of Man blues trio Back Door Slam are playing in Houston on March 10th (and, incidentally, tonight at Stubb’s). Seems a long way to travel in the middle of March for just Houston. ;) I hope they do come back to SxSW this year – they were fantastic last year, even if I did watch their show from the street.

Also on the subject of UK bands, I’ve heard The Wombats are making a repeat visit this year, but I don’t have any details yet on showcases or day parties.

  3. We’ve recently received confirmation that Port O’Brien, Tall Firs, and Howlin’ Rain will all be there.

  4. juiceboxxx just confirmed via his myspace page that he will be playing sxsw again

  5. anyone heard about the Magnetic Fields, Boredoms or Stephen Malkmus?

  8. If the Boredoms are playing I think I’ll crap myself in a public place.

  9. The Debauchers (Chicago) are playing at Yard Dog Gallery on Saturday March 15th along with Chuck Prophet, Half Japanese, The Sadies and Jon Langford

  10. According to his Myspace page, Liam Finn will be there.

  11. Princess Superstar list a show on 3-13 with Justice and Moby.
