A rare week of many sold out shows in Columbus is in progress. This past weekend saw two sold out Girl Talk shows, last night Cursive sold out, The Sword is sold out on Sunday at Ravari, and tomorrow’s “Where’s the Band?” event at The Basement is as well.
PS: Cursive last night was amazing. I hadn’t seen them in a few years and they slayed.
Girl Talk has sold out two nights at Newport Music Hall at full venue capacity. Most bands who come through Columbus don’t even sell out one night. I am not even sure what this means.

Girl Talk is coming to the Newport on January 17. Tickets are $16/18 and go onsale later this week.
