Video: P. Blackk & Raz Fresco – “Buck 50”

I applaud the type of individual that brings his dude and fellow Baker’s Club member Raz Fresco to our city to rock over a Heather B & M.O.P. instrumental and ends the freestyle joint with an outro that samples an excerpt from Nas’ infamous Power 105 interview. P.Blackk would be that individual in this situation.

Janay Photography shot the video here in Columbus, as well. “Buck 50 ” features a cameo from Little Rock’s Baker’s Club rep Lo Thraxx, too.

This video isn’t promoting anything but being dope.

SO the Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne randomly showed up to Bodega here in Columbus, Ohio last night. I was supposed to go up there for a friend’s going away party but a case of poison ivy cause my face to swell and I stayed in. Anyway, from all accounts Wayne was consistantly surrounded by pretty much every female in the bar. Above is Mr.Coyne holding up a Higher Level Art sticker that Andrew Kern gave him. Awhile back we posted remix of a Gift of Gab song done by Wavves’ Nathan Williams and his brother Kynan . Well, Fool’s Gold is putting out an instrumental beat tape by the Williams brothers called Stay Calm on August 7th. Thy William’s brothers project itself is called Sweet Valley. On the tape they chop and screw American Bandstand breaks on joints like the above “Total Carnage” and I guess go g-funk on “Dunk Dreams 95”. Smoke weed everyday.

Wavves are also on the cover of Spin with Best Coast.

Tyler, the Creator twittered a link to Odd Future’s tumblr that had tourdates and release dates. Tourdates include a Columbus, Ohio, September 12th show. full listing of tourdates at the bottom of this post.

Domo Genesis is dropping a mixtape with the motherfucking Alchemist on August 1st called No Idols. Above is a song from that tape called Elimination Chamber that features Earl Sweatshirt, Vince Staples and Action Bronson.

On October 2nd, Mellowhype will drop their new album Numbers. Hear a brand new jawn from Hodgy Beats & Left Brain called “La Bonita”.

On July 31st, Blackalicious will re-release their early 90’s ep Melodica. Below is “Changes” a song recorded in 1993 in England when they were first getting down with Mo Wax . “Changes” was originally only available on a rare vinyl Japanese version of Melodica.
“Changes” was produced by DJ Shadow, Cheif Xcel, James Lavelle and will be on the reissue.

On July 31st, Blackalicious will also drop a new single “Blacka” which will began a wave of new music by the Bay Area duo.

Blackalicious’ Gift of Gab’s dropped a video for “Protocol” off his upcoming album “The Next Logical Progression” today as well.

For this Yours Truly session Killer Mike visits Tuff Cut Sound in Burbank to perform the El-P produced “Untitled”.

This song is off Killer Mike’s album “R.A.P. Music” and is about being a grown-ass Southern man who is going to rap his song and doesn’t have time for the bullshit. I only descibed it that way because the intensity of this video session is felt when you watch it.
