P. Blackk & J. Rawls “Nahmean” Promo Video Says “Contemporary Nostalgia” Soon

It’s Sunday. I will just let Pedro tell it:
For those that aren’t familiar with who I am my name is P. Blackk. I’m 21 years old & from Columbus, Ohio. I’ve been working on this project called “Contemporary Nostalgia” for quite some time now with my big homie J. Rawls. You might’ve heard me on the J. Rawls “Ohio Takeover Mixtape”, on L.e For The Uncool’s “The Measure” (George Washington) on Fly.Union’s “Look Up To The Sky”,on their TGTC album. I can now also add to that list my feature on BJ The Chicago Kid’s single “Heartless” which was his cover to “Long Run” by Fly.Union. But in this email I’ve linked my 1st visual as promotion for my collaborative project with J. Rawls, “Nahmean?” I’m trying to get the word out there, so of course I’m emaling you in hopes of getting that support to get the word out there. Once again, thank you for your time & get back to me as soon as possible

Friday: Morning Parade opening for Anberlin @ The Newport
My posts here have been coming a little less frequently due to my work on a site that I launched in mid-August. The site, Kids Interview Bands, features my 6th grade daughter Olivia and her friend Connie interviewing bands that are passing through Columbus. The girls got their start at the Bunbury Music Festival in Cincinnati where they interviewed 8 bands including Neon Trees, Minus the Bear and Imagine Dragons. Since that time, they’ve knocked out 33 or so interviews and have 6 more scheduled in the next 10 days.
In September, the girls had a chance to talk with the UK’s Morning Parade, who were in town on tour with The Wombats (also interviewed by the girls), following the band’s Big Room performance at CD 102.5. Since that time, Morning Parade has done dates with Smashing Pumpkins and are now on the road with Anberlin who they’ll be opening for Friday night at The Newport.
Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are $17 in advance, $20 day of show. IAMWE is also on the bill.

Barack Obama’s National Communication’s Director Brent Colburn tweeted:
@BarackObama‘s last day on the trail? The Boss in WI, OH & IA; Jay-Z in Columbus; Ending with@MichelleObama in IA, where it all began
President Obama, Jay-Z ,and Bruce Springsteen will being holding a rally here in Columbus, Ohio Monday. No details where but my guess would either be the Oval or the Statehouse.
. I saw this on my friend’s twitter. But the Washington Post broke the story.
Also, The Marshall Tucker Band will be Playing Mitt Romney’s Rally in Columbus, Monday according to the Dayton Daily News.
